The idea was to create a sculpture or installation from bones. I was able to negotiate with a local vendor to purchase the bones of calf after the meat was sold at the market. I took the bones home and with the help of my neighbours cleaned and boiled off any excess tissue. After which i dsome research on bone maceration, a process of where bones are prepared for taxidermic use in closed containers. I had the bones in closed containers on my balcony for months and it produced an awful smell. I never fully got the bones to the right stage for use and I had to move out of my apartment before I was able to use them properly.
