During the introduction tour in the new urban development area known as Phu My Hung, I observed a small plot of young trees not far from this building. I thought that the trees might be fruit trees. I knew that certain fruits and vegetables require bees for pollination. The relation between the bees constructing their hives and the construction of the new buildings at that moment during the tour was clear. Both were competing for real estate.

The installation speaks to how both people and bees must negotiate their lives from the very same land. Furthermore, that human development and the natural environment can co-exist if done properly. 

The installation is setup so the bees can fly in and out of the gallery according to their own natural cycles via tubes that attach to the windows. Normally, they fly out in the morning to collect pollen and the bees return in the evening to the hive. Small microphones are embedded in the installation and the drone of the bees is broadcast through the gallery.

Tôi biết rằng một số loại rau quả cần ong để thụ phấn - sự kết nối giữa việc ong xây tổ và việc xây những toà nhà mới đã hiện lên một cách rõ ràng vào khoảnh khắc đó của chuyến tham quan. 

Tác phẩm sắp đặt nói lên rằng cả con người và ong có thể cùng sinh sôi trên cùng một vùng đất. Hơn thế nữa, sự phát triển của con người và môi trừơng thiên nhiên luôn có thể cùng tồn tại.
