This concept was developed after a conversation with a curator at the National Gallery in Singapore for an upcoming exhibition. I had been invited to look at the space for the exhibition and respond with an work that dealt with light and night. While this work was never realized for the National Gallery, it was later reconfigured into another work/concept with similar techologies for my solo exhibition, Departures (2017), at de Sarthe Gallery in Hong Kong. That new work would be titled, "Vital Matter".
