In 2003, shortly after I relocated to Ho Chi Minh City, I organized a panel discussion on contemporary art at the Ho Chi Minh Fine Arts University to introduce newer forms of arts practices including installation art, performance art and new media (including video art) with esteemed colleagues Jun Nguyen-Hatsushiba, Ly Hoang Ly, Vu Nhat Tan, and Boi Tran Huynh-Beattie.
