The term "watershed" is often used to describe a defining moment in one's life or a historic turning point. A watershed, originally, refers to a geographic formation that directs the flow of water into a river.
The public talk 'Watershed: Talking Art & Culture' constitutes an opportunity to connect the artists featured in the exhibition 'No Rain Without Clouds' with other arts and cultural professionals, academics, as well as the general audience - to discuss what has been happening in the world of 2020, and the impact upon the arts and cultural landscape of Vietnam.
Chiều thứ 7 tới tại Bảo tàng Phụ nữ, nghệ sĩ Nguyễn Thế Sơn, nghệ sĩ Richard Streitmatter-Tran và tiến sĩ Emma Duester sẽ chia sẻ các câu chuyện và suy ngẫm về bối cảnh nghệ thuật và văn hóa Việt Nam của năm 2020, về những chuyển biến đã diễn ra, cũng như những thay đổi sẽ còn tiếp tục trong một giai đoạn ‘khúc ngoặt’ của toàn thế giới. Giữa những dòng chảy này, các ký ức và di sản sẽ được lưu giữ thế nào, và công nghệ có thể đóng vai trò gì?
